The importance of fine arts reaches much further than simply their aesthetic value.  Mastering new skills by self-motivation and self-discipline directly engages students in the thinking process.  Each of the unique art disciplines requires students to apply different skills to express themselves.  As students create solutions, they acquire problem-solving abilities applicable to other subjects both inside and outside the classroom.

Wednesdays are half-days at the European school though the students may stay for extra curriculum activities.
