Hats off to the chef! 8th graders worked in groups to explore the trade networks of the Silk Road through food. Each group researched, prepared, and presented a dish that reflected the rich exchange of ingredients and cultures along the Silk Road.

On a sunny Saturday morning, 4B took off to Cariblanco. We made the challenging walk to the waterfall (well worth it!) and afterwards waded in the water to catch tadpoles. We had a great time!

On Wednesday, February 19th, our third grade students enjoyed an exciting visit to Museo La Salle. They learned about rocks, animals, fossils and insects. They saw many familiar animals we had learned about in our trip to Zooave last quarter. They made meaningful connections between both experiences
On Thursday, February 13, the 11th grade Spanish Language and Literature students visited UCR to speak with author Camilo Retana, whose work they analyzed in class. They also received a personalized tour of the university library with a special workshop from the librarian.
