The third-graders enjoyed a sleepover at school from Friday to Saturday. Tents, pizza-making, wheels, a bonfire and a ghost walk were some of the activities that kept them busy. From all reports, it was magnificent!
Each 7th grader was paired with a 12th grader and given the opportunity to ask a variety of academic and social questions. The soon-to-be graduates shared the wisdom they had gained from years of learning and experience. It was a beautiful moment that connected the bookend generations of high school.
We went on a field trip to continue exploring our theme on the four elements. Our last element, Earth, led us to OVSICORI, a research center where scientists study rocks, volcanoes, and geological activity. This visit helped us deepen our understanding of how the Earth shapes our world through natural processes.
