About the lessons

This club teaches young musicians how to play jazz standards as a group.
Instruments played in the band include, but are not limited to: drums, bass (guitar), piano, guitar, trumpet, trombone, saxophone, as well as a singer.
Students who wish to sign up are expected know how to read sheet music, and ideally have experience playing jazz.

Goals

Learn how to play jazz in a band
Develop important new musical skills.
Gain individual confidence in improvisation
Motivate students to (keep) playing music!

Materials

The students are expected to bring their own instruments, except for drums and piano. Sheet music is provided.
